How does the paving service work?
We will survey the area, allowing you to also discuss with us your project and all of the details. We will then provide you with your no-obligation quote with the price and time estimate for completion.
The process will consist of:
- Clearance - We will remove all vegetation, old slabs and other debris in the way.
- Preparation - If we need to excavate, for instance to level the ground, this will be done at this point. We will also compact the soil. The foundation requires a firm base.
- Membrane installation - A membrane is installed which will prevent weeds from growing through the paving grout in the slaps.
- Sub-base installation - This is an additional layer of material to make sure the ground is firm and even.
- Paving - This is where we lay the slabs or paving tiles on the sub-base. This will need time to dry, we will then wash it and point it as a final touch. Now you can enjoy your new patio, garden or driveway.
